Home Sweet Huntingdon Open Houses

for Deposited Students

Home Sweet Huntingdon Open Houses are special days set aside for deposited students to enjoy some time in your new college home. The schedule allows you (your family is welcome, as well) to share a meal in the dining hall; put on comfy walking shoes and tour the campus and residence halls; meet some of your new classmates; talk with current students, faculty, and coaches; and ask any questions you’d like to ask. Relax and make yourself at home! Please choose one of the available dates: Thursday, June 20, 2024, or Wednesday, July 17, 2024.  Attending a Home Sweet Huntingdon event will also help you get a head start on fall semester, completing most of the paperwork and eliminating some of the steps you would otherwise have at check-in. Don’t miss HSH!

Orientation

Orientation is generally held the Thursday through Sunday of the week prior to the beginning of classes for the fall term. 2024 Orientation dates will be posted in the spring of 2024.

Required of all incoming students, Huntingdon’s orientation program allows you to settle in just before classes begin. More information coming soon!

If you have questions, your admission counselor will be happy to assist you: (334) 833-4497admission@hawks.sdtqh.com.

New resident students (who have not already moved in for fall sports or other commitments) move into their residence hall rooms on the Friday of BRW.
